Wish my human health insurance was this fast

My dog's had a lot of surprising health issues...all of which have been very expensive. Making big decisions about her health has been very stressful, but the one thing I never had to worry about was paying for it. Healthy Paws is so quick to reimburse me: the direct deposit frequently hits before the credit card charge. They're fast, reliable, and very helpful.

I have had Healthy Paws for past 10…

I have had Healthy Paws for past 10 years. Since they have been bought out by Chubb they are no lon ger the company they use to be. My dog is 10 years old and my premium went up 150% this year with no claims. This company wants to lure you in when you pet is young then raise you premiums so high you can no longer afford it when they get older. Owner look else where when insuring your pet.

Healthy Paws is great. The claims are processed quickly and it is comforting to know that they care and want to make sure you are satisfied. Their response to email question are quick also. Thank You, Healthy Paws!

My little dog is 9 and I have had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for most of her life. And, I am so happy that I made that decision! From surgeries to acute illnesses they have had my back each time. The cost of surgeries is extremely expensive and to able to recoup a good portion of it makes the experience much more palatable. It is worth every penny of the insurance coverage. Filing a claim is so easy to do online and the entire claim process is quick. I would highly recommend that anyone who is considering pet insurance to look into Healthy Paws. If you love your pet it’s a great choice.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
