Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

This was my first pet claim with Healthy Paws, we had just purchased our insurance 2 months prior for our puppy. The pup ate something that obstructed his bowl and was very sick, spent one night in the Pet ER with lots of tests and two days of x-rays and IVs with our family vet hoping to avoid exploratory surgery while watching for the obstruction to move the least bit. He finally did pass the obstruction and he is on the mend. We submitted our claims on a Friday night and by Monday we were notified the two checks were in the mail. i bought the insurance because of the high ratings, now I know why they a top rated company. Thanks again.

My fur baby was taken ill. Had an MRi (lesions found on brain) ultrasound (obstruction in intestines) had operation to remove obstruction and had food port temporarily put in place. She has made a remarkable recovery after two days in ICU and 5 days in the University of Penn Veterinarian Hospital. Total bill was $10,000 with Healthy Paws covering $7,050. Reimbursement was made 10 days after filing claim and I had only had the policy for 5 months. I highly recommend Healthy Paws Pet Insurance in the event of such an incident.

A great company. Sign up was easy. Their mobile app was easy to use, especially for submitting claims. Most importantly all claims were processed and reimbursed promptly and hassle free. I wish all insurance companies are as efficient and fair. Highly recommend for all pet parents. You will not regret it.

Submitting claims is simple and payment arrives within 2 weeks (usually less than one week). The few times I've called with questions, the customer care team not only answers knowledgeably but they also take the time to share genuine concern about Lilly's recovery process. The added pet owner signature for each customer care rep sharing his/her special pet is an added bonus. If only my health insurance could be as great as Lilly's!
