Amazing Company and Exceptional Customer Service

We have used Healthy Paws for our cats since they were just a couple months old. When our cat Racha was just 6 months old, he had to have surgery to fix a liver shunt. It was a big deal and a life or death situation for our little guy. Healthy Paws was a dream to work with through that process. Most recently, our cat Felicia broke her femur and had to have surgery. Healthy Paws worked directly with the vet hospital to cover a portion of the cost, which was a HUGE stress relief for us during this stressful time. They sent follow up e-mails to check on her and every time I was on the phone with someone (which was a lot), they were incredibly kind and helpful. I would recommend this company to anyone!

So relieved we had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance when this happened!

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is the best! We recently filed a claim when our 4 year old Terrier mix, Simba, had to have surgery for a disc compression. I have to say - Healthy Paws has been wonderful to deal with! If we didn't have pet insurance, we would have had to put Simba down because we couldn't afford such a high cost. That would have devastated our family. The reason we purchased pet insurance is because our previous dog, Beamer, was hit by a car about a year before we got Simba. He died within a few hours, but my friend's dog was also hit by the same car in the same accident (both dogs got out of our yard and chased each other across a busy street) and her dog required over $10K in surgeries and I thought to myself, wow, there's no way we could have afforded that! So when we got Simba, we decided to look around for pet insurance. I just searched online and compared several plans and chose Healthy Paws based on its website and reviews. We are so happy and thankful that we had a good plan in place when this happened to Simba. Our claim was processed quickly, in less than one week from the time we filed. We now have a second dog, Nala, and have already added her to our plan. She just turned 1! I have told all my friends that have pets - get Healthy Paws Pet Insurance immediately!

Healthy Paws was the best decision I ever made concerning my pet!

I cannot say enough positive things about Healthy Paws. From the day I brought my puppy home 4 years ago, Healthy Paws made it incredibly easy to get her insured. Having done thorough research on all of the pet insurance companies, Healthy Paws was the leader as they offer lifetime care at an affordable price. Their customer service team is incredible, and their mobile app makes it incredibly easy to submit claims. My dog had a bout of pancreatitis earlier this year which was stressful enough but knowing that Healthy Paws was there to help made the situation a tad less stressful. A few weeks ago my dog tore her ACL and had to have a surgical repair, again Healthy Paws provided me with the support I needed to get her the surgery. And a week later, a member of their customer service team emailed me to check in on my dog! I don't ever want to have to make a difficult decision concerning my dog because I cannot afford to get her the proper treatment. Healthy paws has been nothing but extraordinary and I cannot thank them enough for all they do!

Top Notch, all the way around

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance review My husband and I couldn't be happier with our decision to protect our dog, Bailey, with Healthy Paws. While I had always had excellent experiences with them in the past, we just recently had to file our first claim- Bailey suffered a very common ACL (CCL in dogs) tear and needed knee surgery. I sat through an hour consultation with the surgeon where he went over and over details of two different types of procedures in depth, discussing the short and long term pros and cons of each. I am happy to say after first calling Healthy Paws to understand my coverage, I was easily able to say to the doctor "this isn't about the money, he's covered 90% so the difference in price is negligible. tell me which will be better for Bailey in the long run, which would you do on your own dog." The peace of mind that this coverage provides is immeasurable, not to mention when I called to ask about preop testing I was told "get every test you need run for diagnostics, if he needs surgery we cover that and if he needs hydrotherapy, physical therapy, acupuncture, etc after, we will cover that too." Then my claim was processed in a day and I got my reimbursement within a week. Phenomenal experience! I can't say enough good things about Healthy Paws and can't recommend them highly enough. We'll certainly be continuing our coverage for Bailey through his lifetime :)

Shopped a lot of insurers -- 100% satisfied

I can't say enough great things about Healthy Paws. When our dog was a puppy, I did a lot of shopping around for insurance after he got sick with pneumonia and I'm very glad that I picked Healthy Paws. Their coverage and customer service are second to none and their claim submission and payment process (take a picture of the invoice and send through their mobile app, payment through direct deposit or check) could not be easier. Their customer service reps even send personal follow-up notes when they notice significant episode claims, e.g. a torn cranial cruciate ligament surgery. I have fully recommended Healthy Paws to friends, family, and our vet!
