Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I can't say enough about Healthy Paws they were there for us in our time of need and did not hesitate in paying claims. We Have a puppy Layla who first had a tick born illness (Anoplasma?) and then later decided to eat a metal paper clip that she was unable to pass on her own and needed surgery. These were both costly procedure (almost $3000) and Healthy Paws held up their end of the bargain and paid the claims within a couple weeks. Great Carrier and I highly recommend. I have been a Healthy Paws customer for a couple years now and have not regretted it at all. I was skeptical to sign up because I'd hear nightmare stories about folks not getting claims reimbursed by other companies. I did my research and decided on Healthy Paws. The process to submit a claim is super easy and their customer service is outstanding and quick. They have implemented direct deposit so I get my reimbursement right in my account. Unfortunately, I have a young dog that is battling cancer and it has been very costly. I've not had to worry about that and just go with what is right for her because I know Healthy Paws will take care of their part. They have covered everything so far that I would expect them to. They are very clear on what is and isn't covered when you are signing up. The only reason I did not give them 10 stars is that sometimes the time it takes to review a claim can exceed a couple weeks. If you are thinking of getting pet insurance, I HIGHLY recommend them!

My puppy recently underwent surgery to repair a dislocated knee. Although it has been a long and slow recovery, I am so pleased with the service of Healthy Paws. I found it very easy to submit my claim. I made one phone call to follow up and spoke with Dylan, who was extremely helpful. My claim was quickly settled, without hassles. I even received a kind email to check on the progress of my pup's recovery. It is such a comfort to know that Healthy Paws will be there in the future should we need them again.
