Great Company

Healthy Paws insurance is great! I have used them a few times in the last four years, or so, and their service is impeccable. In addition to that, filing a claim on the app is so easy and they respond immediately. They also follow up with an email asking about your pet's progress and recovery. They really care! I highly recommend Healthy Paws to anyone who has a pet and wants to ensure giving them the best care possible.

Healthy Paws covered the cost of our Labrador's ACL surgery (a VERY expensive procedure) to the full extent of our policy very promptly and efficiently. I couldn't be more happy to recommend Healthy Paws.

Healthy paws insurance is simply put, THE BEST out there for insurance!!

My little puppy was hospitalized twice and healthy paws covered both big expenses @90%. They not only take care of the claim within 10 days they genuinely care for your pet!!

Simply the BEST Pet Insurance!

Absolutely the BEST in Pet Health Insurance! We have literally been saved, financially, by HEALTHY PAWS! When our little best friend got sick, they were right there covering 90% of her bills. Their app makes Bill submission a piece of cake, and we usually receive our benefit funds within 10 days. I'm SO THANKFUL that we signed up with them, at the highest level possible (90% with a $250 deductible). With our vet bills exceeding $10,000, Healthy Paws has allowed us to get the very best care possible. Thank you, Healthy Paws! Look no further!

Healthy Paws is far above the rest

I cannot say enough about Healthy Paws. Hands down, the best!! I did a ton of research before enrolling, and boy am I glad I made the choice to go with Healthy Paws. The claim process is so simple and fast, and the reimbursements are received very quickly....usually within 2 weeks. Having a pet that had surgery and ongoing problems, it has been a relief to know that Healthy Paws is there for her and I'm able to get her the care she needs. I can't recommend them enough!! I will never own a pet again who is not enrolled in Healthy Paws. Definitely a lifesaver for me and my pup!! Their customer service is terrific as well. Never have to wait to talk to someone. Very caring and compassionate. Definitely a 10 all the way around!!

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
