Amazing

We recently went through a horrible experience with our 1 year Golden....needed a very expensive surgery to remove a foreign body. I purchased Healthy Paws insurance for him when we first brought him home and I can't describe to you the peace of mind it gives. We were able to take care of our baby and he is doing well today. Do not hesitate to purchase pet insurance from Healthy Paws. Claims are handled fast, and submitting the claim on-line couldn't be easier. We definitely recommend!

Great Insurance

I've had Healthy Paws Pet insurance for my Beagle since he was almost 1 year old. He is now 3.5 years old. Unfortunately, he gets sick very often and having the insurance helps us a lot. Healthy Paws makes it very easy to submit the claims online and they cover everything except the doctor visit/examination fee. The compensations are also very easy and fast when you set a direct deposit to your account.

Peace of Mind

I am so thankful for Heathy Paws because my dog keeps growing mast cell tumors at the same time she tore both of her ACLs. It's been a lot of recovering around here but at least I was able to tell the vet "yes, let's fix her legs" instead of "wow, I can't afford that".

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
