i've had labrador retrievers for over 30 years but saw a well bred french bulldog pup, from kentucky, and without researching the breed, fell in love. done deal. then i did my research and got HEALTHY PAWS pet insurance. good thing too, because well bred and all, allergies galore. never had any experience with pet insurance, was advised by another frenchie owner and i have to say I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER or more satisfied with HEALTHY PAWS. eli, is getting weekly medicated baths, is wiped down with medicated wipes, whenever he goes out and comes back in. needless to say, he is one expensive dog!!!! HEALTHY PAWS has made it so i am able to take care of eli, the way he should be cared for, and that is a very expensive, (to say the least) project (besides all the work as each medicated bath is 30 minutes, 20 minutes for the shampoo to stay on (a different one for his face as well) and 10 minutes for a medicated rinse. every wednesday my husband and eli are in the shower and needless to say, frenchies are not water dogs like my lab. i must continue to praise HEALTHY PAWS-Every person i deal with, each and every time, are competent, pleasant, helpful and generally delightful. for anyone needing pet insurance please get HEALTHY PAWS-they are the best thing that ever happened to me, and eli!!!!!!

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance was worth every penny
I'm so happy that I invested in pet insurance with Healthy Paws. My 11-month old kitten developed a spinal condition that required many expensive tests and treatments, and Healthy Paws paid the claims within a reasonable time, after all documentation had been properly provided, including my kitten's acupuncture! I would highly recommend pet insurance, and specifically Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. The only reason I did not give a 10 is because there was a lag between my claim and reimbursement. Even though I had supplied the necessary documentation, a second review (after a prompt from me via email) revealed everything was in order. After that everything moved forward quickly.

Back to back surgeries fi
Highly recommend! My Lab was extremely sick and it was due to a stomach blockage (he ate a sock!). He needed immediate surgery! When they took x rays they found a dark spot on his rib. It was diagnosed as cancer! So my poor lab had to first have stomach surgery for blockage then 3 weeks later part of his rib removed for cancer. You can imagine the bills! I can't say enough about Healthy Paws insurance. They covered EVERYTHING in our plan with no questions asked. They refunded our money extremely quick and made it stress free. Amazing ! Highly recommended!!

Excellent Coverage, Turn Around Time, and Customer Service
Healthy Paws is hands down the best pet insurance out there. My ten-month-old German Shepherd mix had almost $1K in vet bills a few weeks ago followed by an emergency room visit for a wound on her nose. Healthy Paws gave me the flexibility to tell the vet to run whatever tests she needed to in order to find out why my dog was sick, it covered her antibiotics, and I received my reimbursement less than two weeks later. Not only that, but Healthy Paws followed up with me to see how my dog is doing. Truly, a wonderful company! Filing claims is super fast and they keep you updated throughout the process. Highly recommend!

These guys helped us pay serious medial bills for our dog. They were always understanding, quick, and followed up. We love them and all they have done to help our dog be happy and healthy.
$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.
Coverage
One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more.
You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.
Deductible
You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750*

Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
