Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Healthy Paws saved my wallet and quite possibly my Maine Coon Hunter :) Was devastated when he was diagnosed with cancer 2 months ago...and he's needed radiation and chemotherapy - lots of tests and blood work -- and there was Healthy Paws each step making it easy to submit claims and sending reimbursements quickly. I was at the Animal Hospital and saw a family torn apart because they could not afford treatment for their pet....I feel incredibly lucky to have learned about Healthy Paws and can't recommend them enough. (PS my Hunter is going great....hoping that he has a couple more fun years left in him)

The most down-to-earth and friendly people you could ever hope to deal with. There is no haggling to get your claim paid out. If it is anything other than routine preventative care they will cover it without giving you any headache. Great people all around.

My dog, Max, was playing in the backyard and ended up limping back inside. Come to find out he tore a ligament in his left knee. I signed up with Healthy Paws a year prior which took away the financial stress of the situation. The vet told me surgery was the only option and would cost close to $4,000.00. I called Healthy Paws and they had exceptional customer service. They walked me through how to use the app (which is extremely easy to use). I was reimbursed within weeks after submitting the claim. A few days after the claim was settled I even received a personalized email from a representative asking how the surgery went and how Max was healing up. They really go out of their way to make sure their customers feel like family. I highly recommend getting insurance on your pets and I highly recommend Healthy Paws!

Having HealthyPaws insurance has been such a blessing. My young dog recently developed IVDD. From the onset of this diagnosis, HealthyPaws has been expedient in responding to my claims, they have been helpful in answering questions and I NEVER feel as if I have to argue with them about something (which I did with my former pet insurance company who paid little to nothing). They are proponents of treating your dog (w)holistically and they actually seem to care about your pet. HealthyPaws has truly been a light in this dark tunnel of trying to treat this (which, btw, is a long process). It's a comfort knowing they are there!

Affordable Pet Health Insurance with great coverage. Completely worth the low monthly payments. My claims have been in the thousands! The only thing that I would like that they don't offer is direct payment to veterinarian. BUT...I have checked other companies that do pay direct and they don't seem to cover as much of the bill. So I would rather wait to get reimbursed and have less out of pocket cost overall. I have had multiple claims over two years and I am sticking with Healthy Paws!
