Healthy Paws is there for you and your pet 100%. We just recently had our dog undergo emergency surgery because he swallowed a rock and Healthy Paws was there every step of the way. They also have the best user-friendly app!

A letter to Healthy Paws Customer Care when they had sent an email out to me asking how Princess, our 9 lb MaltiPoo was doing after her surgery Thank you for caring about and checking on our Princess. She is recovering well from the surgeries. The sutures were removed this week. It has been and continues to be an intensive recovery for her and us because of the ulcer on her remaining eye. Under a great ophthalmologist care, we have agreed as her parents, to do our very best to do what is needed to heal the ulcer that is on her remaining eye. To accomplish this we are providing eyedrops, anabiotic, anti-inflammatory, and several others all working toward healing her cornea. We are on régime that provides those eyedrops every two, four and eight hours respective to the particular medication. So my husband and I are staying up 24-7 to be sure she gets everything possible to save the eyesight and the eye. Our hearts break to see our little 2 1/2 year old have to go through all this, but she has been a little trooper to put up living in a hood and with being awakened for her medications. Thank for being so supportive to us, so that we can provide Princess with every chance to save her remaining eye. Without your financial reimbursements, we would not have been able to afford this care for her. My husband and I are retired, so on a fixed income. We can’t thank you enough for your assistance and that you are very timely in processing these claims. We can see why you are the #1 Pet insurance company. I have been a customer of Healthy Paws for a little over 6 months. I have a Saint Bernard who is only a year and a half old and became very ill to near death. I had 2 emergency vet appointments followed by a two day ER stay in order to save his life. While I had never filed a claim with Healthy Paws. By the end of the weekend I was over $3,000 in vet bills! I filed my bills as they came in and Healthy Paws reviewed them quickly and did EXACTLY what they advertise. I now, more importantly, have a puppy that has rebounded tremendously well but have received the accurate amount of money back from Healthy Paws within 10 days of my claims. My puppy had to get surgery because he likes to chew on things and a bunch of fabric had built up in his stomach over time. An unexpected experience like this is stressful enough, so I'm really relieved that Healthy Paws was able to cover almost all of the cost!

Isabelle, my Golden Retriever is 6 years old. She attends daycare 4 days a week, goes to work with me one day a week, swims at an indoor dog pool year-round, and is a certified therapy companion. We visit hospitals, schools, and assisted living facilities. She pretty much goes everywhere with me. Christmas day we visited my daughter and Isabelle was running with her dog having a great time. I then heard a yelp, and she was limping badly. Spent Christmas day in the emergency with her. Turns out she was modifying her run (I think) to adapt to my daughters’ much smaller dog, and tore her ACL. This required expensive surgery and subsequent rehab work. I submitted the bill, it was quickly paid minus my deductible. These guys are awesome! One unexpected accident can cost thousands. This insurance is so worth the cost. Years ago, I had insurance with another company but got tired of all the paperwork to be filled out, only to be told denied. I have recommended Healthy Paws to everyone I know. My daughter’s dog is also insured by them. The claim process is simple. I actually take a pic and send the bill while I am at the vet’s office. The people are wonderful and what is really nice, you don’t feel like you are dealing with an insurance company trying to find a loophole to not pay. I will never go uninsured with my dog, nor should you. But the insurance is only as good as the people. That’s why it is only Healthy Paws for me! Thanks, guys! I wish my coverage was this good!
