Great Pet Insurance Provider
Healthy Paws has been the right choice for us in caring for our CKCS. After a recent claim, they reached out to personally ask how our Louie was doing. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER USING ANYONE ELSE
I’ve been using Healthy Paws for 3 years now. Their rates are excellent, their app couldn’t be easier to use and the people are understanding and caring. I had Trupnion for 2 months until I was fortunate enough to find Helthy Paws, best thing I ever did for my dog! Their reimbursement is speedy and efficient. Their communication is excellent. I can’t say enough good things about them.

I would definitely recommend Healthy Paws, great company, and great people
When looking for health insurance for my two new puppies I looked at all the options. When I contacted Healthy Paws with some questions they were very helpful and answered all my questions. I liked the ease of the signup process and the usability of their phone app. It was not until a year later that I needed to actually use the insurance and when that time came I was pleased to find that the upload process and claim process was so easy. I uploaded the records that I received from my Vet and then snapped a picture of the bills and in a week Healthy Paws had reviewed all the records and reimbursed me for the covered procedure. My Dog ended up having bone cancer and lost her leg. Having Healthy Paws insurance allowed me to be able to afford the surgery and get a second chance with my beloved dog. The best part was that after the surgery I got a personal email from one of their employees asking how my dog was and if there was anything else I needed. They also took the time to look at the rest of my policy to see that I had another dog and asked about him as well. I felt like they really cared and I am glad I went with Healthy Paws. I would recommend Healthy Paws to any pet owner.

One of the best decisions
Getting a Healthy Paws policy for my German shepherd, Gus, is one of the best decisions I've ever made! Customer service is fantastic. It's so easy to file claims through the app and they are very prompt and communicative. Thank you, Healthy Paws!
Monthly Cost
$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.
Coverage
One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more.
You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.
Deductible
You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750*
*Choice depends on age of the pet
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
