Last year, at about this time, Walter could barely walk. Now, he’s moving right along. I was thinking, just this morning, that without Healthy Paws I wouldn’t be able to provide him with this life-changing care. Walter means everything to me, and we thank Healthy Paws from the bottoms of our hearts. Over the years, I’ve recommended Healthy Paws to every dog-owner friend, and to strangers too. So many of my friends have signed up with you, and all are pleased. Love, Lisa & Walter

Excellent, Caring Service
My wife and I were recently Healthy Paws customers until we suddenly lost our mastiff. Losing our dog was a significant tragedy and while that can't be changed, the stress of that could have been so much worse. She had significant hospital bills which were terrifying to rack up. On multiple occasions, we have had to file large claims and each time, they were reimbursed without argument. We cannot tell you how grateful we are for that. Additionally, a couple of weeks after our loss, we received a card signed by the team at Healthy Paws. It was very touching. I don't know when we'll get another dog but when we do, we will for sure be insuring them through Healthy Paws as well as recommending Healthy Paws to everyone we know.
**A 9 was given rather than a 10 only on the basis of having to be reimbursed rather than payment being directly issued to the Vet; otherwise, I would rate a 10**

Thankful every day for Healthy Paws!
I can't say enough positive things about Healthy Paws. I first purchased insurance when my boy Teddy was a puppy, and I'm thankful every day that I did. I carry the maximum level of insurance (90% coverage after a $200 annual deductible) on Teddy and it's worth every penny. The first year of Teddy's life we were at the vet every 2 weeks for chronic skin issues, & more than one emergency visit when he's ingested things that he shouldn't have. We have spent thousands of dollars over the last couple years on procedures, medications, and skin related medical care and the majority of that money spent has been refunded by Healthy Paws (90% to be exact!). His most recent issue was an ER Vet visit that alone cost me roughly $1,000.... I received almost $900 in refund checks for that ER visit. When a $1,000 bill essentially turns into a $100 bill, I have been able to focus on what matters most- my boy's health - and not have the added financial stress. I had no qualms about choosing to provide the needed care for him because I didn't have to choose between spending the money on appropriate care and taking a chance on his health. Looking to the future, as the owner of a giant breed dog one expects to eventually run into some sort of hip/joint problems (though I take excellent care of my boy through nutrition, supplementation, and appropriate exercise). I have peace of mind knowing that heaven forbid that does occur, cost of care won't be an issue.
While my boy has had many visits to the vet and we have unfortunately had to take advantage of our coverage with Healthy Paws frequently, I would still consider this coverage worth it for any household pet- even those who seem to never have health issues. The peace of mind it brings is easily worth the cost per month (which is more than reasonable in my opinion). We use the Healthy Paws app to submit claims, which makes it super easy, fast, and convenient to do. I will be using Healthy Paws for any future pets we have. If you have a puppy, get pet insurance early, it's the smartest thing I have done. There have been no negatives to our experience, and any interaction we've ever had with any Healthy Paws staff has been pleasant, professional, and genuinely caring for my boy. I can't say enough good things - thank you Healthy Paws!

A pet owner cannot afford to not have this insurance and Healthy Paws is amazing!
I have two labs and enrolled them in Healthy Paws about two years ago after being urged by a fellow dog owner. My oldest, a chocolate has had health issues for most of his life, however, nothing life threatening. Realizing the high cost of specialized veterinary care and upon referral from a friend whom had a near catastrophic illness experience with her lab which could have easily wiped her out financially, I made the wise investment in enrolling my two dogs with Healthy Paws.
Recently, my oldest dog became terribly ill and would not eat. Our family vet indicated that his symptoms were beyond their practice and would have to take him to an Emergency Vet offering advanced care.
Thankfully, the vets at the emergency center did an amazing job saving him as he was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder requiring numerous tests and prescription drugs. He’s now home but certainly not 100% as his recovery will take months. Needless to say, the 3 day emergency stay, tests and drugs costs were significant and would have quickly wiped out my savings. Thank goodness for Healthy Paws!!
Filing a claim was simple via their mobile app and within about a week, 70% of his expenses were reimbursed. On top of that, one of their reps contacted me, inquiring about my dog and expressed sincere care and concern. I have NEVER had someone from an insurance company contact me to ask if things were ok. I was amazed
In today's day and age of rising health care costs, you CANNOT afford to not take out a policy on your loyal canine or feline companion to cover any unforeseen medical events. I cannot provide a higher recommendation for anyone contemplating pet insurance than to Healthy Paws.
As background, I've had my beloved lab for over 12 years and have been through a lot together. Both he and my other dog are the family I never had and I am so appreciative for Healthy Paws and the caring and supportive people that work for this company.

Thank Dog for Healthy Paws!
As a pet parent, you never want to see your pet (baby) sick or injured. Recently, my Great Pyrenees experienced a life threatening bacterial infection which had the potential for a fatal outcome without critical care hospitalization. Iggy was in the hospital for 11 days. From the beginning, I worked with the Veterinary Hospital, telling them I had Healthy Paws pet insurance. Thank Dog for Healthy Paws. I was able to focus on Iggy's care and treatment versus worrying about the hospital bill and if I would be able to afford care. Healthy Paws with my permission, direct paid the Veterinary Hospital. Everyone at Healthy Paws has been rooting for Iggy and each person I worked with showed me that they truly care about the animals they insure. I have 2 dogs, and I will be switching my older dog over to Healthy Paws versus his current insurance company. This thanksgiving holiday, I am thankful to have Iggy Valentine with us, feeling much better while she continues to improve. I am grateful to Healthy Paws pet insurance for allowing me to get the care needed for Iggy and focus on her medical needs, rather than focus on her medical bills. I will be recommending Healthy Paws to anyone that comes into my boutique pet store, as well as anyone I meet while volunteering for the Puppy Up Foundation. As a dog mom that has lost 3 dogs to cancer, I can tell you, that pet insurance is necessary to ensure we can do everything for our furfriends.
