There’s a reason Healthy Paws is rated highly in terms of customer service. My dog has been insured with Healthy Paws since 2014. First off, the premium did not increase for almost 5 years. This year was the first hike in the premium and it was only a few bucks more (trust me – the price is still very worth it for their customer service). My dog was diagnosed with a bladder infection and stones on December 1st with a scheduled surgery on December 4th. The claim was filed on December 5th and I received a reimbursement check in less than a week. The total for the surgery was $3,000 and the only documents they asked for was the health history of my dog. They even sent a follow up email to check up on her! Little things like that really make me appreciate Healthy Paws. Purrrfect customer service and quick to reimburse claims.

Awesome Company and Service
I have a six year old german shepherd. Unfortunately he already has had more than his share of problems from herniated discs to cancer. Healthy paws has not given me any hassle or trouble even though his expenses to date are approaching $40000. This was by far the best financial decision I have ever made.

Incredible customer service and coverage
Recently our 4 year-old dachshund Sophie was diagnosed with a herniated disc in her lower spine. She was on the verge of permanent paralysis and in terrible, constant pain. Her journey to wellness included going to a Veterinary Neurology specialty hospital, an MRI, a major spinal surgery, and 9 nights in the hospital. When we got her back, she was able to walk and was pain free! We still had 3 months of rehab and recovery ahead of us, but were overjoyed that our precious baby got the medical expertise and care she needed. Today she runs, plays, chases squirrels, and is back to her active, happy life.
One thing that we were grateful for and that helped us tremendously was our pet insurance with Healthy Paws. They covered 90% of the cost, after deductible, with very few exclusions. I must say, they processed our multiple claims very quickly, professionally, and without putting us through challenges, which we are very thankful given the up-front costs. When we called Healthy Paws to enquire about the claims they were so kind and helpful, it was a pleasant experience! It gave us peace of mind and one less thing to worry about during her ordeal. We are so thankful to Healthy Paws for providing this level of coverage to pet owners, and for handling our claim with professional courtesy and expediency.
I highly recommend Healthy Paws pet insurance to anyone who loves their pet and is committed to their life long wellness. You will likely not miss the monthly premium, but when your pet needs medical treatment beyond regular vet care, you will be so glad you have this coverage and the financial support to make the best decision for your pet’s care. When there’s an unexpected accident, emergency, or frightening diagnosis, your thoughts should be on finding your beloved pet the best possible treatment, which might include surgery and/or hospitalization. That is no time to be worrying about whether or not you can afford the treatment. With Healthy Paws insurance, you will be covered at the level you choose, and there is no lifetime cap on claims. You also don’t have to worry about the complexities of obtaining pre-authorization. Just take your pet to the veterinary care clinic that suits the situation, and submit the vet bills after treatment.
We are so thankful and grateful to Healthy Paws for taking the sting out of our final vet bill. You do not ever want to be faced with needing a life-saving surgery for your pet and not being able to fund it. Everyone who values health insurance for themselves and their families should extend that to include their furry family members as well!

The best ever decision for my dog
My 5-year old female Pomeranian accidentally broke one of her front leg two months ago. At first I chose the most economical treatment option of putting a splint on her injured leg with a hope that it could heal itself. Unfortunately after taking a few radiographs the fracture was diagnosed a non-union one. My Vet recommended me to see an orthopedic specialty soon. The orthopedic Vet suggested a fracture repair surgery after reading her X-rays. I was speechless when I was quoted a surgery cost of $6k. “It’s so lucky that I bought a pet insurance from Healthy Paws last year”, a thought popped up on my mind when I was reading the written quote.
My dog’s surgery was a success. She recovers very well. She now walks on a leash three times a day, 10 minutes each time. Her orthopedic Vet saw her last week and confirmed that her recovery progress was satisfactory. My girl is very lucky and blessed to have Healthy Paws financially back her up after this unexpected accident occurred. Heathy Paws makes claims simple and easy. Each time after I filled out a few columns online and uploaded my Vet bill, a check from Healthy Paws was delivered to me within a week, no unreasonable exclusions. I even received a check on email from Mr. Tim Weiss at Healthy Paws to see how my dog is recovering. Thank you Tim for dropping me a line to show your concern and love. The best ever decision I’ve made for my girl is to insure with Healthy Paws.
