I could not have afforded Lulu's surgery without Healthy Paws!

When I got my next dog (yorkie) after having to put down my sweet Lucy (yorkie), I knew I needed to get insurance. I spent probably $5,000 in the last two years of Lucy's life as she was in kidney failure. What I wouldn't have spent to keep her with me but I did not have ANY health insurance so I paid for everything out of pocket. My new Lulu began urinating a lot in the fall of 2018. Because I knew the symptoms and signs, off to the vet we went. It's been seven months later and she was finally diagnosed with MVD however the vet wanted to do a biopsy to be sure. The surgery alone cost $1,800 (not counting the previous vet bills) and Healthy Paws paid 90%!!! I cried as I could not have afforded it otherwise. I will ALWAYS have Healthy Paws pet insurance. The customer care and ease of reimbursement is the BEST! Thanks HP!

We LOVE Healthy Paws

We purchased pet insurance for peace of mind. When an unforeseen rare diagnosis occurred (requiring costly tests and monthly medication) Healthy Paws was there! The online claim process is simple and the reimbursement is quick. They were there for support- financial reimbursement and concern for what we were experiencing. WE love Healthy Paws 🐾

They Saved My Dog's Knee

I'm a year late writing this review, but oh well. Last year, my then-4 yo chihuahua terrier completely tore his ACL and because of his breed and knee structure, the surgery was complicated and costly. My family did not have $5,000+ to pay for the surgery, and the vet doesn't do payment plans. Luckily, Lucas (the dog) had been serviced by Healthy Paws for over a year and we felt comfortable with the claim process. Usually these insurances are reimbursement based, but because it was such a large amount, I talked to a HPPI representative and was able to get them to pay their part up front (90%!) and I ended up paying only $500 for my dog's pre-surgery consult, surgery, and post-surgery check! And, because of their unlimited lifetime claims (unlike other providers) i have no worries that I am going to run out of insurance money as he ages (since he's just a pup). Overall wonderful service.

Extremely Satisfied with service

When our dog became very ill , Healthy Paws was there to help. It was great having healthy paws to support us in our payments, as the cost would have been over to what we could have afforded . We were able to make the decision that supported our dog in her recovery - thanks to have insurance. Healthy paws not only helped to pay the bills, but also followed up with a personal email to see how our fur baby was recuperating. I could not have done this without the support of insurance.
