Excellent full service pet insurance coverage
Our dog, Kylie, is recovering from a TPLO surgery to correct a dislocated knee cap and a knee tendon tear.
She is going well and goes for her 4 week XRAY exam and Doctor's review next week.
We especially like the On-Line Claims request process which only requires a cellphone photo of the Invoice entered on the Happy Paws internet site.
My wife and I really appreciate all the attention and concern you have stated in emails on her condition.
Healthy Paws is an outstanding organization for pet care and it has greatly improved in a cost effective way major pet medical surgery procedures for our dog, Kylie.

They are awesome!
I use healthy paws for my service dog and can't say enough good things about them. Their policy is easy to understand, they make the process super simple and they finish the claim in just a couple days. It's a huge relief to know I never have to tell my vet I cant afford treatment for my boy.

I would like to voice my opinion here on Healthy Paws. I must tell you I've never met an insurance company for puppies that are as nice as this group. When I first started with healthy paws, I wasn't that experience with health insurance. I sent them three claims at one time and they walked me through all the claims procedures and help me understand what I was doing.
My Westie recently had to have knee surgery. Owning animals, is very expensive and I always worry about the cost. I want my babies to be healthy and happy, that is so important. But when Gracie had to have surgery Healthy Paws helped me through the expenses, I would not have been able to do it on my own. I am a senior and retired and live as all seniors do, at least most of them, from paycheck to paycheck. You want a great company to work with these people are it!
Monthly Cost
$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.
Coverage
One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more.
You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.
Deductible
You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750*
*Choice depends on age of the pet
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
