Excellent Customet service and they pay on a claim quickly

I have used Healthy Paws Insurance for two dogs for a total of 5 years. In both cases, HP has delivered on what they say. It was easy to talk to someone who,patiently, listened and answered all of my questions. Additionally, the claim processing is quick and typically processed within a week with a check received shortly after completion . This is excellent and consistent Customer Service . I encourage my friends to use Healthy Paws for the pets!

Great service from Healthy Paws

I got dog insurance for my pup when he was super young. Never did I ever think I would end up needing it and using it as much as I have. Between diabetes, blindness and emergency stomach surgery, Healthy Paws has been there the whole time supporting us. My decisions for treatment would have very different if I didn’t have coverage. I feel so fortunate to have such great coverage. Thanks Healthy Paws!

They make is easy !

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
