HEALTHY PAWS

Shortly after getting our beautiful golden retriever in Dec 2018 we applied for Healthy Paws coverage. To date she has had 2 surgeries adding up to just under 10K. I had heard night mare stories about pet insurance when it came time to use it. Fortunately that is NOT the case with Healthy Paws!! I simply took pictures of the invoices and submitted them on my phone app, super easy. Less than 2 weeks checks arrived all 80%. By far the best pet decision I have ever made . Thank You HEALTHY PAWS

Thank goodness for Healthy Paws

Thank goodness for our Healthy Paws coverage. Just over 10 weeks ago my dog was suddenly diagnosed with lymphoma. It is an aggressive cancer and without treatment we could have lost him in 6 weeks. The news was devastating, but the fact that I was able to get treatment for him because of my Healthy Paws coverage, his cancer is now in remission. Having insurance saved my doggy's life and mine, I would have been lost without him. When I was looking for insurance when I first rescued my dog just over 3 and half years ago, I knew that vet services can be very expensive. What drew me to the coverage I chose with Healthy Paws was the unlimited coverage amount, as well as the adjustable rates and deductibles for their plans. Since getting the coverage, I have found it is very easy to submit claims and that the customer service is helpful and supportive. I highly recommend Healthy Paws!

Fast Prompt Claims Payment

Wow. My dog accidentally swallowed a foreign object. We have and are going to the vet often. Healthy Paws has paid all claims within a week. Great customer service!

Great peace of mind!

I have put in three claims with this company and every time is easy and hassle free! They are quick in responding and in processing the claims. You get updates regularly on the progress of your claim as well. They also sent an email to check up on my fur baby and it was such a touching gesture and the email was specific to her situation not just some generic computer generated email. I recommend this company to all pet owners looking for insurance!

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
