Easy Claims and Wonderful Staff
I highly recommend Healthy Paws to all caring pet owners. I recently had to have a procedure performed on my 4 year old pit mix. The claim submission was extremely easy, just had to upload a photo of the invoice via Healthy Paws app. I received the reimbursement within 14 days. The staff is wonderful, they sent an email about 3 weeks after the procedure to check on how Samson was feeling. That was nice to see that they take an interest and care about my pet. Thanks again Healthy Paws.

LOVE Healthy Paws!
I enrolled my dog Pearl for coverage with Healthy Paws shortly after adopting her in 2016 and am forever grateful that I did--they've been a terrific partner.
I've submitted several claims over the past 3 & 1/2 years, from an illness-related hospitalization to recent CCL repair (knee surgery). The process is simple and takes only a few minutes, and Healthy Paws sends the reimbursement within 10 days. That's a lifesaver--being able to pay down the credit card bill for surgery before the next billing cycle begins is a bonus.
I've recommended Healthy Paws to several friends and happily endorse them here. Everyone I've dealt with there has been helpful and friendly, including reaching out to see how my Pearl is doing post-surgery. If you've got a pet and considering pet insurance--and why wouldn't you?--you really ought to go with Healthy Paws. You'll be glad you did.
Monthly Cost
$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.
Coverage
One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more.
You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.
Deductible
You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750*
*Choice depends on age of the pet
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
