Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I've had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for my dog since she was a pup--going on 5 years now. Customer service is very responsive and easy to work with. Claims are VERY easy to submit (you just take a picture of your vet bill and submit--that's it) and reimbursement has never been an issue. I've never had a claim denied, never had to argue with HP over anything, never had any issues. The only catch is that over the life of your pet and its policy, your premium will slowly increase. But even so, one covered emergency visit/overnight hospitalization will basically allow you to break even. If your pet is unfortunate enough to suffer multiple health complications, the policy will pay for itself and then some. Highly, highly recommend for any pet owner that doesn't want to have to weigh the cost of care versus the well-being of their pet.

My doberman ate a sock and it was stuck for 2 days. My bill came to over a thousand dollars, I'm sure glad I had this insurance to help pay most of my bill. It really comes in handy to use, vet bills add up quick! -Melissa

I can’t say enough great things about Healthy Paws. They have great rates, terrific coverage choices and the claims process is easy with quick resolution! Our dog had to have emergency surgery and the first email I received from them told me not to worry about my claim, take care of my pet. They put me at ease about the finances and gave me the time I needed to help my baby. They also sent a follow up email to check on my pet. I love this company! True care and compassion. A simple urinary infection turned out to be bladder stones that required surgery. Good thing for insurance or my pet would have suffered. Healthy Paws processed claims quickly and efficiently.
