Peace of mind during an emergency

Healthy Paws provided excellent coverage and customer service during a recent emergency with my dog. I had the peace of mind knowing my expenses would be reimbursed exactly as stated in my policy. I was able to approve fairly expensive but vitally necessary tests and treatment. I provided Healthy Paws the invoices and medical records and my reimbursement was direct deposited into my checking account within the week. They even followed up to check on my dog’s progress which has been remarkable.

Great coverage, benefits clearly defined, fair price.

I have a mixed breed pup, now 14 months old, who I jokingly refer to as a Whippersnapper. She's very impulsive and seems to be trouble prone so early on I looked for pet insurance and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Since getting Minka signed up with Healthy Paws, she has had two episodes of having to have her stomach contents emptied because she ate plastic and then a recent wrist fracture. I was reimbursed very quickly, and though it may just good PR, the tone of all communications was cheerful and supportive, unlike my human health insurance company. Looking carefully into coverage details I determined that Healthy Paws would be my best bet for combining affordability with great coverage. I'm now on Social Security and feel more secure knowing that for a predictable monthly outlay I will be shielded against unexpected potentially very expensive vet bills. Too often people have to make a choice between getting a treatment they can't afford or euthanizing their pet, something I very much want to avoid. Recently all over the internet and TV I've seen ads for a new, inexpensive pet insurance company and I looked into that but quickly discovered why it is so cheap. Unlike my Healthy Paws pet insurance,The policies I read about had an annual cap, a lifetime cap, and only paid about 50% of eligible expenses. That would be certainly better than nothing but it would only take 1 not too drastic incident and the costs would go way beyond the difference I am spending to have better coverage. I wish it weren't necessary to have yet another monthly bill, it is a great relief to not worry about veterinary costs should the unexpected happen.

Insurance better than mines

Ares got I'll and was hospitalized. We had bills that ran into the thousands . Healthy Paws approved everything in two days and a check was in our mailbox before our Dog finished his Meds. We were emailed during his Hospital stay with encouraging words from Healthy Paws. The emails were Hey Anthony please don't worry about the bills right now just concentrate on Ares getting better. Healthy paws thanks for doing exactly what you said you would do.
