Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I had this insurance for the past five years. I never had any issues at all. My dog had several surgeries and was seriously sick at the very end. Healthy Paws always processed my claims very quickly. I always got my checks within 10 days of filing the claim so I never had to worry about my credit card bills. Their customer service is outstanding. When I lost my sweet Brady in March 2019, I received a handwritten card by their office staff. Also, they were so sympathetic and compassionate with any email communication. My heart is so broken over the loss of Brady, but I know that if I ever can have another dog in the future, I will absolutely be getting Healthy Paws insurance again.

I just want the say THANK YOU for the speedy reimbursement of our claim. My fur baby needed surgery. The surgery was done on a Friday, I submitted the claim online on Monday the claim payment was in my bank account By Thursday.

My lab puppy 11 weeks old was stung by a bee. I took her to the ER because she was vomiting and because it was after my vet had closed fir the day. The bill was $550. They refused to cover it because it was literally 5 hours before the 15-day waiting period was up. My puppy was stung again a week later, again after normal vet hours. This time the bill was $132. My deductible was $100. Again Healthy Pet refused to cover it because this time they said it was a pre-existing condition. My deductible is $100 so it would have cost Healthy Paws $32. I spoke to Management and asked them to work with me and was told there is nothing they could do. So I am cancelling

All claims are handled, quickly and efficiently and the really care. I tell everyone if they handled human medical insurance, I would sign up!!!
