After learning the hard way how expensive veterinary care can become, especially with senior pets (our Pomeranian was diagnosed with bladder cancer, and my German Shepherd accumulated well over $50k in vet bills during his life, most of which were in the last 4 or 5 years), we knew we'd get pet insurance with our next dogs. And after comparing options, Healthy Paws came out on top. So far, they've definitely lived up to their reputation! Several of our dogs have needed emergency care or major surgery since opening their policies, and Healthy Paws has covered every claim - and quickly, too! It's given us so much peace of mind knowing that we can say, "Do whatever needs to be done" without having to worry about whether or not we can afford it. I love their customer service and the very prompt payment of claims. My 10 year old dogs have had numerous surgeries on their knees and thanks to Healthy Paws I didn't have to worry about the cost of a treatment when my dogs needed them. They even paid for laser treatment to my dogs back. I have never had a claim denied.

I have had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for over 10 years and have been very satisfied with speed in which my claims are processed. Submitting a claim only takes a minute and I submit it online. After two knee surgeries, it has more that paid for itself and it is a comfort to know that I won't have to make a decision in treating my dogs based on cost.
