Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

The best decision we ever made was getting Healthy Paws pet insurance. I can't even remember why we decided to go ahead with it, but I can honestly say Flurry would not be here with us today if we had not moved forward with that decision. Every day that Flurry was in ICU and we got a call about approving another day of treatment, I can't tell you how reassuring it was to know that no matter how distraught we were about his survival, we at least, did not have to worry that we he would not be treated because of finances. I told his vet at his first follow up appointment after discharge, that we would not be standing here today if we did not have insurance because there is no way we could have covered the cost of 8 days in the ICU. Then to top it off, Healthy Paws sent a personal message checking in on how Flurry was doing after he was home! Thank you so much to Healthy Paws!

After being discharged home, I was worried that somehow our claim would not be covered or we would be dropped, instead, not only was reimbursement quick and exactly as promised but I also received a personal message checking on Flurry was doing at home! I am truly thankful to Healthy Paws for getting us through this terrifying event!

Our doggie, Molly, was attacked and severely injured by a dog three weeks ago which resulted in a 2-night stay at the ER and then a week later another 8-night hospital stay for an advanced treatment due to the severity of her injury. Molly’s doctor asked if we had pet insurance because the recommended treatment was expensive and was pleased to hear that we had Healthy Paws, as Healthy Paws allows veterinarians to provide the care and treatments they recommend and would not request less effective procedures just because they are cheaper.
