Easy, Efficient, Quick Reimbursement
When my dog needed emergency surgery I was able to upload images of the vet invoices online, they made it super easy. After submitting the invoices they were quick to respond and I got my reimbursement within 2-3 weeks of filing. There was no disputing or push back, they were on top of it.

Great company
Great company. They are who you need, when your pet is sick. Our dog had to have a blockage removed from lower intestine! Surgery went well, and putting in a claim to Healthy was really simple. They communicate well to keep you updated, with claim status. Check was sent out really fast, and went straight back unto savings!
Could not recommend them highly enough!

Healthy Paws is AWESOME!!
Healthy Paws is AWESOME!! We purchased our policy when our Havanese, Derrie was 4 years old. Derrie was diagnosed with a questionable heart condition. We saw a Cardiologist and Derrie had a cardiac work up. It turned out that Derrie didn’t have a heart problem. Healthy Paws was so easy to deal with to make a claim. Just go to the Healthy Paws app on your phone. Take a picture of the bill and submit your claim. We submitted our claim and received our reimbursement check the next week!
Our dog Derrie is now 6 years old. He had been sick for about a year with gastrointestinal issues. We took Derrie to an Internal Medicine Veterinarian. After several expensive diagnostic procedures, Derrie was diagnosed with Atypical Addison’s Disease. We submitted our claims for reimbursement and received a check with in a week! The coolest thing about Healthy Paws....... They were really concerned about Derrie. They sent me an email inquiring about their concern for my fur baby and wanted to know how he was doing. I am telling all of my friends and family about Healthy Paws!!

my dog was recently hospitalized for…
my dog was recently hospitalized for three days and luckily I had healthy paws pet insurance, they handle the claim fast within a few days and they really come through for my wife and I. Our vet bill was 1600 but we had the pet insurance so we got reimbursed for a good portion of that bill. Everything was not covered by healthy paws but every insurance policy has it limitations. Still happy with the outcome. I would recommend healthy paws to friends and family.
Monthly Cost
$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.
Coverage
One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more.
You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.
Deductible
You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750*
*Choice depends on age of the pet
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
