Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Healthy Paws has been there for me in the case of a few emergencies we've had over the years with our dog. I've been a pet owner for a long time and while I do anything I can to keep my pets happy and healthy, not having pet insurance can definitely hurt one's pocket in the case of a real emergency. Healthy Paws has been there to help a few times now - I definitely recommend them to help protect you and your pet in a time of need.

Incredible experience! They processed my claim in TWO DAYS and were so caring and compassionate in their communication. Submitting a claim was as easy as uploading two medical records. It took less than five minutes. Details: My beagle mix was attacked during a walk by an unleashed dog. It was horrific, his back leg got mauled, he lost a tooth in the scrap, and the bill came out to just under $2000. I submitted my claim, and within TWO DAYS, Healthy Paws had reviewed my claim and informed me that a check for 80% (minus the $250 yearly deductible) was on its way. I almost cried, the dog attack was so awful and the claim process was so easy. I just uploaded the vet invoice, and the medical info sheet, and while this was not necessary, I included pictures of the wounds. The site was very easy to use and I had no problems uploading the attachments. A week later, I received a message from a representative asking how my beagle was doing. My check arrived very quickly. I recommend this company to everyone!

We bought pet insurance because we had two young pups and hoped we would never use it. Boy were we wrong! Thank God for healthy paws. Our dog recently developed an illness that was causing her extreme pain and resulted in many visits to Drs and Emergency clinics to find out why. finally after an MRI and Spinal tap she was diagnosed with seizures and is finally on the mend and feeling much better and we as parents can finally breathe knowing that she will be ok. We are so Thankful for healthy paws, We could have never afforded all the procedures and test that she had to have without them. They have allowed her to have The best care available and because of them she can still live a great life and her situation can be managed with daily medicine and occasional blood work. I recommend Healthy Paws pet insurance to anyone with pets. Hopefully you will never need to use it but you will never regrettably having it if you do need it.

My cat had an ulcer in his right eye due to the lower eyelid rolling up into the cornea. I had to take him to the veterinary ophthalmologist for eye surgery. This was not cheap...it cost more than the cataract surgery I had done on my own eye!! I submitted a copy of the veterinary invoice as well as a copy of my cat's medical history and 2 days later I had a deposit in my bank account for 80% of the cost of the surgery. This was the sole reason I took out a policy with Healthy Paws, to cover extraordinary medical procedures that might crop up. They were wonderful and very responsive, even during this COVID19 crisis.
