Amazing service

My cat had a bad knee injury that needed surgery at a cost of over $5,000. Healthy Paws were amazing in handling my claims, worked with me when I wasn't able to pay for the surgery upfront, were the most responsive and kind people. Also settled the cost with the hospital straight away, literally on the day of the surgery. It was such stressful time for me and my cat and the fact that I had an amazing service from the Healthy Paws Insurance made it just a bit better. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Multi Year Customer- They take your money then do multiple delay tactics. Horrid service. Stay far away and run

We have been with Healthy Paws for multiple years and have paid a lot more in monthly fees than other companies. When you actually need to make a claim they are the worst in customer service. They will send you umpteen emails and you will provide everything they ask then they will start over with a first request over and over again. They will delay and delay. If this continues then we will be filing complaints with BBB, Attorney General's, and small claims. Worst experience I have ever had with Pet insurance. I wish we would have stayed with Trupanion.

Easiest claim process

Healthy Paws is really great. I’m so glad I went with them when I got my basset Maple. As a puppy, she got into things and dealt with some upset tummy issues, and just recently was diagnosed with Addison’s Disease (she will be ok!). Throughout, Healthy Paws has been so easy to work with- they have never given my difficulty when it comes to reimbursement and their customer service is top notch. I highly recommend them- having fur babies is amazing, but can get expensive. I have the piece of mind knowing that I can get the best care for Maple knowing that Healthy Paws will support her care.

HEALTHY PAWS HAS BEEN GREAT! Extremely helpful, my boston terrier needed surgery for a hernia and then eye surgery 2 months later :( They were a lifesaver when it came to quickly processing my claim and even checking in on my pup after surgery. Thank you!

INCREDIBLY HELPFUL AND GREAT SERVICE

Have had healthy paws for my boston terrier since he was a pup, it was one of the best decisions ive ever made. My guy needed surgery for a hernia and then a few months later surgery for an indolent ulcer on his eye. Not only was submitting the claim easy, but they also checked up on him after my claim was filed. The covered amount was direct deposited into my account within a week of filing my claim. It was an absolute life saver to have healthy paws

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
