This Healthy Paws policy is the first pet insurance I have ever owned. I recently submitted a claim on my 5 year old Malinois who suddenly didn't want to eat or play anymore. This required x-rays, blood tests, ultrasounds and lab tests. Filing the claim couldn't have been easier...click on a link and upload the bills. Later that same day I received an email that the claim had been received and was being processed. Two days later another email that the claim was complete. Two days later a reimbursement check in the mail. A day or two later a follow-up email checking on how my dog was doing and wishing her well. I wish my own health insurance company was as efficient and caring!

Healthy paws is absolutely phenomenal. There claims process is super quick easy and reimbursement is sent extremely promptly. I find the app to be wonderful and extremely simple. My dog has an unexpected knee injury resulting in surgery and claim was submitted processed and check was sent. Exceptional insurance. I’ve never had pet insurance and after dealing with healthy paws, would never not have insurance. They’ve made everything such a pleasure. I could go on and on. They’re truly spectacular.

I have had pet insurance for years with another company and because of their reviews I changed. What a mistake!! I had a Doberman that was diagnosed with kidney failure. It took forever to get his er visit paid. They want all kinds of notes that vet's don't do. As my vet said I'm done I'm out of the insurance business. I supplied them with by bill, codes and the notes that were available on the file. It's been a month and I still have not been paid on my puppies death. I always upload all forms and add notes to make it simple. I have spent hours on the phone with customer serve and they are nice but NOTHING gets done. Horrible! I cancelled my other dogs and went back to my old company that this would have been paid in 3-5 days .
