Flexible coverage options!

I love that I got to choose my coverage options, not like other places where I have to pick from what they offer. I like how timely and informative the reimbursement process is, but I really don't like that I have to bother my busy vet office for a copy of the written report from her file each time. I would recommend this company despite that. I'm a happy customer.

Positive experience

My French bulldog has been receiving treatment for middle ear otitis which is rather costly. All our claims that we've submitted so far have been reviewed and paid in a timely manner, the claim submission online flow is very user friendly and the text updates are very helpful.

One job, four bengal cats - Fetch is a requirement!

Let me start by saying, I have one job but four bengal cats to look after so pet insurance was a given. We started with another provider but found there were so many exceptions and administrative challenges we were not happy with. We made the decision to take on the risk of switching providers even with some claim history and unresolved issues. Turns out, it was an excellent move to join Fetch. We have great coverage tailored to our needs and budget for a couple of years now. As a company, Fetch has been quick to respond, compassionate, and easy to work with. In the six months alone, we have submitted for multiple emergency surgeries, medications, exams, behavioural treatments, etc. We have not been rejected. The peace of mind that comes from knowing I can put the health of my pets ahead of my financial restrictions is beyond words. If I see something wrong, I take them in without weighing the risks of whether an issue will resolve itself or not because I am concerned financially.

Fast turnaround

Fast turnaround! Submit the correct paperwork (invoice and medical records) and you will see your claim processed in days, not weeks like some other insurance plans.

WORST COMPANY EVER

I originally signed up with PetPlan and they sold to Fetch. I have had problems with this company since the moment they took over. They raised my monthly plan by an additional $20 a month and covered a lot less things. Also, their website is broken so you cant even chat with a person on it you can only click the pre-typed chat prompts, it does not let you type yourself. I have paid $660 in insurance fees thus far this year and over $700 at the vet and yet I have somehow not hit my $500 deductible because they do not cover many of the things my former plan with PetPlan did cover. The customer service people are rude and do not explain anything, they just direct me to their website which is poorly designed and barely works. I immediately cancelled my plan with them after they told me basically "that sucks" when I expressed my frustration with having paid over $1300 and seeing nothing in return. I wish PetPlan never sold to them because they were great, and Fetch is awful. Also, you can only cancel your membership on the phone, and they have no phone number posted on their website. Therefore you have to use the broken chat to try and talk to a person to obtain the phone number to cancel. I had to take screenshots of my text in the notes app and drag them into the chat just to type my own sentences and ask for a phone number.

Age Limits

Fetch doesn’t enforce upper age limits, so you can enroll your pet any time after it turns six weeks old. Some providers limit coverage for older pets to accident-only. Fetch doesn’t limit coverage by age so that you can get the right care for your buddy, no matter what.

Waiting Period

Fetch’s waiting periods are up to 15 days for accidents and illnesses and six months for orthopedic events.

Exclusions

Fetch won’t cover pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures, boarding costs, breeding costs, wellness care items, or accidents and illnesses that occur during waiting periods.
