Wow such a fast claim process!!!

This is the first time I have purchased health insurance for my pet (Buddy)and so far I'm impressed. Just submitted my first wellness claim for Buddy and within a few days have received notification that my check is on the way. Thanks Embrace for making the process of filing a claim so easy!!!

Friendly and FAST!

The claims process is simple and easy. Our reimbursement came in the mail as scheduled, hassle-free. I can't believe we survived THIS long with 2 dogs and no insurance (4.5 years). Embrace is the way to go!

Very Satisfied

Very personal service, have had this insurance since 09 and had our first claims recently (bowel obstruction and foreign body ingestion). The explanation of benefits was very easy to understand which I really appreciate. All in all, so far, very satisfied with Embrace.

What a Lifesaver!

Our dog Frisco had a recent bad run of events that left us with significant vet bills. My husband in unemployed and we are living off of a single income making ends meet. Thank god for the pet insurance, it has been a lifesaver! It was tough to take on the vet bills but working with a great company like Embrace helped to ease the pain. We have always been able to get ahold of someone when we had a question and they are wonderful at emailing confirmations and explanation of benefits for all the claims we submitted. If only our personal health insurance was so clear! Thanks Embrace for offering such wonderful service to help us take care of our furry family members, I recommed them to everyone we meet! The 9/10 was just because our first claim took 15 days and a phone call to follow up to get processed...but when they did, they took care of all of our claims at once, even one we just submitted a few days ago!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
