Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

We have had Embrace ever since adopting our wonderful Boxer rescue and it has been nothing but a very positive experience so far. Each interaction I have had with Embrace associates has demonstrated their care and compassion for pet mommies and daddies and their pet kids. The communications I have received from Embrace have been excellent and they process claims quickly and efficiently. Purchasing Embrace has been a lifesaver and I would recommend this company to anyone.

We adopted Atz Lee, a shepherd/lab mix, 6/12/13. I got his on insurance on 6/14. We had to use it that week for Kennel cough. Then in Dec. he had to have surgery on one of his hips. Embrace made it very easy to send in our claims and answered all my questions. Everyone is pleasant, reimbursement comes quickly and they always follow up. We also purchased the well care coverage which has helped with vaccines and his upcoming neutering. Thank you Embrace Team!

Our Pitbull had a paw cyst removed when 2. No sign of cancer or reoccurence om the months to follow (he is now 4). After submitting full medical records last Aug 13, Embrace gladly accepted our dog for their coverage. However, this changed with his first illness claim 9 months later. Embrace replied their underwriter - erring on the side of safety for Embrace, deemed the cyst was possibly cancerous and therefore would be labeled a reoccuring and pre-existing cancerous condition warranting denial of any future cancer or mass removal claims when this young dog gets much older. I might add, despite the coverage denial for cancer, Embrace did not make any effort to reduce the monthly premium. Credit to them, they were very polite through the process, but it is like being stabbed in the heart with a knife while your attacker smiles. Needless to say, we won't be staying with Embrace any longer and unless you want to risk delayed coverage denial (for no valid reason) I would recommend you stay away from Embrace.

I've been with Embrace for past five years, ever since Lance came into our lives. My experience with embrace has been very good so far. They have been very professional and quick in their response to all our claims.

Embrace was recommended to me by a fellow dog-owner. I had not heard of them at the time, but I had previously researched several different pet insurance companies and had always found them too expensive. When I looked at the Embrace website, I liked their reasonable rates and reimbursement policies, so I signed up. I have submitted several claims over the years, which is a very quick and easy process (you fax in a form, and they email you the claim status and a check if you have reached your deductible amount). I feel much more secure knowing that I have insurance for my dog!
