Excellant Service

After much research on pet insurance, I chose Embrace. Not knowing what to expect. I submitted a wellness claim. I am totally impressed with the customer service I received. I was kept in the loop throughout and received a check within two weeks. Thank You EMBRACE

Couldn't ask for better service

When we got our new lab puppy, River, we decided to get insurance for her. We have an older lab who has experienced all sorts of health issues and is uninsured. When she needed hip surgery, the bill and meds where very expensive. And she continues to be on medication seven years later. Embrace has covered every wellness claim we've submitted and the processing time has been at the speed of light! We are very, very happy with their service and we highly recommend them.

Easy and Affordable

Sending in this claim was hassle-free. I was emailed promptly to be told it had be received then sent another email regarding its status. I am so happy that I can keep Abby insured for a reasonable cost. It gives me a security, knowing that if something happens, she's covered. I would definitely recommend this company to other pet owners.

Clearly in it for the money

This company is out for the money. I had an issue 2 years ago and another issue this year which are completely different but they tried to say it was all under the same illness!! So if the dog was sick back then and is sick now(not noting the exact cause), they won't cover it!! Very poor experience and customer care.

Overall pleasant service

Embrace staff have generally been informative and pleasant to communicate with. I have had extensive e-mail communication with Embracer reps, who have helped clarify my pet's profile, and assistance with updating our information.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
