Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I'm a registered veterinary technician who is no longer in practice. When I left practice, I knew it was important to insure my dog as I no longer had access to discounted vet care. I chose Embrace due to the USAA discount and the wellness plan option. I like the idea of having a wellness plan in place that is not linked directly to one vet clinic. I can use it where ever I chose (and where ever we may end up moving to in the future). My wellness claim was paid extremely fast. I hope to not have to use the injury/illness coverage, but I am glad it is there.

Embrace insurance, and the claims process is amazing start to finish. It is easy, the staff is helpful, and the process is not stressful at all, at times when the rest of you and your pet's life and issues are stressful! I really cannot recommend a better company to use for your dog or cat. We have a newfoundland who we thought tore his ACL, and had to get xrays immediately. They were close to $1k, and almost all of that was covered. I am so happy to know we have Embrace to help us through these times for our giant breed.

I'm very happy with Embrace. Their customer service staff is very friendly, very approachable, and always responds within 24 hours to any questions you may have or to new claims. My vet is able to directly submit claims without needing my signature over and over. I typically hear back from Embrace regarding my reimbursement amount within 3-5 days. They have reimbursed everything but a small invoice for skin issues which were preexisting (so totally understandable that it was excluded). I'm super happy with Embrace!

I have had Embrace for about 6 months now, ever since I adopted by wonderful Boxer boy. We had a rough go for a few months, trying to determine the cause of his vomiting and very runny stools. After too many late night emergency room visits, internal medicine work-up, blood work, x-rays, ultrasounds, and an endoscopy, we finally found out he has Inflammatory Bowel Disease that requires a special diet and a daily steroid dose. Embrace has helped us all along and has worked with us to get him the best care possible. I stressed a lot in the beginning, not being sure what would be covered under my policy but Embrace has been wonderful and everyone I have interacted with over email or the phone has been caring and professional. I rave about Embrace to every pet parent I meet and would recommend it to anyone looking to choose Pet insurance. It has been the best investment I have made so far in providing the best for my wonderful boxer boy and the best way to go is to get the most benefits possible and the highest reimbursement rate when you buy the policy so that everything that happens after the policy takes into effect is covered and you don't have to have a medical review if you want to increase your benefits and/or reimbursement rate. It is very much worth it in the log run!

First review, even though I've had Embrace for 5 years. Reason I never reviewed? Because I never had any complaints! I still don't!! I have 3 dogs with varying degrees of problems throughout their life. Most recently a MRI, Neurology Consult and 2 ER visits. Paid as expected and quickly. This isn't counting the other two dogs that have also had varying degrees of issues. Another dog had a MRI last year and also a Neurology consult. My third dog had a biopsy not too long ago..again all went as expected, no surprises no games..seriously couldn't ask for more peace of mind. As my dogs age they continue to provide us the service that we need to give our little guys the care they need to life long and happy lives.
