I am so happy I chose Embrace.
After a year of debating if getting a puppy was a good idea, We took home our little Pug (Maddie) in the summer of 2014. Being a first time pet owner I had a million questions about everything. Our Vet gave us some brochures on pet insurance. I literally spent weeks comparing them all. I am so glad that I chose Embrace. They have been wonderful. We completed the medical history review which is great because it doesn't leave you wondering what they will or won't cover. Maddie developed generalized demodicosis with a secondary infection. She also has a food allergy and possibly some other allergy that made diagnosis a little more tricky. Embrace has covered almost everything from the Vet, to the Dermatologist, to a second dermatologist opinion. There was one time a claim was denied because the adjuster felt it was a skin problem that fell under pre-existing conditions. But the appeal process was simple and easy I submitted a visit summary from the vet that I get after every visit and in like 1 week it was approved. Customer service is excellent. The only reason I gave a 9 instead of a 10 was I think there is some room for improvement in the area of submitting claims like uploading them to the website instead of mailing them. Also there call wait times can be long But they never try to rush you off the phone. I would highly recommend Embrace pet insurance to anyone who is getting a puppy. It is the best money I have spent on her.
