Relieved

I purchased Embrace for my dog Izzy when she was ~ 1yr old, a few friends of mine had issues with their young dogs which required expensive surgeries. I was thankful that in 5yrs I did not have to use it. Then this year my dog developed a cancerous tumor which had to be removed, she had 3 tumors but only 1 was cancerous. The surgery cost $3000. The Embrace claim form was easy to download, was submitted with all paperwork right from my vets office and I received a reimbursement check in ~ 1 month. It was a relief to know that a portion of that large surgical bill would be covered.

Best thing we've ever done for our pets !

We've experienced the need for many claims here lately and without Embrace insurance I know we would be financially strapped by now. At a minimum I think everyone should get accident and illness coverage for thier animals. Thank you for the fast claim turnaround.

We LOVE Embrace ♡♡♡

We got Embrace as a "just in case" when we first rescued our little puppy. We had it for about a year when she tested positive for heartworms. She was on preventative and somehow they didn't work. Embrace has saved our dog and our wallets!! Her treatments were close to $2000 and we were so grateful to have them!! We couldn't have done the treatment without them!!! The checks came to us so quickly and with NO hassle! We will forever use Embrace and recommend them to anyone who will listen!!!

Godsend!

We recently adopted a rescued adult Saint Bernard. Unfortunately, we also adopted a slew of health problems. Now two surgeries, numerous visits for bandage changes/various tests, and now chemotherapy treatments later, I can't say how grateful we are to have Embrace! Yes, getting the initial claims approved was a hassle, requiring a couple of phone calls reiterating that our dog is a rescue, and that we had no prior medical history. But once that was cleared up, they have been PHENOMINAL, covering every claim super-fast.

Helpful and Responsive

Boxer (our Bull Terrier) broke a tooth playing tug-of-war which caused the pulp to be exposed. After the vet visit, we submitted our first claim to Embrace. Embrace claims representatives were helpful and responsive to all of our questions and/or concerns. We had a great initial experience and look forward to a lasting partnership with Embrace.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
