Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I have been very happy with Embrace. Often you don't expect that a new puppy will need vet care, but sometimes, as in my case, a diagnosis requires extensive testing which would have been unaffordable without insurance. So, I am both happy and relieved to have found Embrace, which I did not know about before my vet suggested it. This first puppy year w/ Embrace has been refreshingly surprising. The adjustments are exactly as promised and very quickly concluded. On the basis of my first year with them, I heartily recommend them over other companies I have used. The premiums are fair and the service is excellent and the team very helpful.

This was a claim that had to be reviewed. It took some time but they honored the claim. We were very pleased how they handled the situation.

At the beginning of the year my husband and I decided to obtain pet insurance for our two Yorkies. I bank through USAA and they recommended Embrace and we could not be happier with the service. My yorkie suffered from acute pancreatitis this past month and was extremely sick for about week; requiring hospitalization at a Pet ER. It was stressful enough worrying if he would fully recover from his illness and knowing that he had Embrace made it easier on the family! The reimbursement turn around was extremely speedy and customer service was very supportive the entire experience. The most important thing is that Bruno did make a full recovery, but the experience could have been so much worse without the help of Embrace!

I learned about Embrace pet insurance at the HSUS Expo 2015. I was offered a two month trial and although I was skeptical, I took it. Towards the end of the trial a visit to the vet revealed my cat, Bindi, was in chronic renal failure. It came on very suddenly and was a huge shock. After conducting Bindi's health record review Embrace covered everything ordered by the vet. Dealing with CRF is very stressful, but knowing Embrace is there to help with the financial strain makes it a little easier. Everyone at Embrace is very nice, helpful and patient.

Our 2 year old pup Maggie, who for being the healthiest and happiest pup around, has had some random health issues; skin issues, fatty tumors, a broken tooth, some intestinal issues as a new pup. Our old insurer always found a way to not pay for anything, we got fed up and made the move to Embrace. They have been wonderful so far. They are clear about what the 'rules' are and communicate very effectively through the claim process. Be warned - they often require more paperwork from your vet than just the claim form and appointment notes, so the process is somewhat...interactive... but we have never been dissapointed by the results.
