Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

My papillon mix has been insured through Embrace since I brought her home five years ago. Over the years we've had minimal need to file claims though the few that I had were always quickly taken care of. Last year my pup had her first seizure; this year she had another. The emergency visit to the vet was costly, and so were the follow-up tests to try to diagnose the cause of her seizures. They covered exactly what the policy agreement said they would cover, without the back and forth fighting that one usually experiences when dealing with insurance companies. The claims were quickly processed and the check was sent promptly. When you're stressing out about your baby's health, the last thing you want to do is waste time bickering with the insurance company. Thank you Embrace for being an honest insurance company. I would (and do) recommend them to all of my friends that have companion animals at home.

I adopted a dog 7 months ago, and bought insurance for the first time. So far I have been very pleased with Embrace. I send in my claims through my vet, and they have always paid some portion on each claim. If I added up my premiums, and then looked at what they have reimbursed, at this point I could have probably banked the premiums myself, and come out put them towards my vet bills. BUT that is not what insurance is about. Insurance is that peace of mind that if something goes really wrong, you won't have to make a decision about your pet's life based on your finances because Embrace will be there to help you. My minor claims so far have been handled fairly and promptly by Embrace, and with gracious customer service when I have had questions.

Our dog had a run in with 2 Pit Bulls. What a relief to know that insurance was in place. Normally this is an expense that never would of made it to my books. But after that incident, we will never be without pet insurance. Embrace was the first company and will be the last. They are always right on time and very helpful. Thank you Embrace for helping me provide the best and affordable care for my baby.

I filed my first claim with Embrace. There were a few hiccups. The fax my vet sent was not received, so I had to resubmit by email. When I called a week later to check on the status, I was told the claim had gotten "stuck in the system." However, I received my explanation of benefits today; and the charges were approved without a convoluted and cryptic calculation of "usual and customary" amounts. The call takers were always polite and helpful, especially Jessica.

I have a new kitten, purchased an Embrace policy for him because of course, he is a family member. I took him to the vet on 07/20 for a wellness visit. I faxed over my claim form on 07/21 and received an email today, 07/24 notifying me that my reimbursement would be direct deposited into my account today!!! What FAST and AMAZING service. I have always gotten friendly, helpful people when calling with a question as well. Best purchase ever made!
