Better than our family health insurance

When we got Great Dane puppy, we wanted to get pet insurance. After a lot of research on different providers we purchased pet insurance from Embrace. Beau started to have seizures this year. Several emergency visits to vet clinics, including a visit to Cornell. He was one very sick Dane. As promised, EMBRACE covered 80% of Beau's vet bills. The bonus is, his seizures are now successfully controlled with proper medication, which is ALSO covered. Without this medication, we doubt that Beau would be here today. We recommend EMBRACE PET INSURANCE to everyone with a pet! Thank you so much, EMBRACE!

Our Embrace Pet Insurance saved us and our Dog!

We live in Sherrill, NY. We started our Embrace Insurance Policy for our Yorkipoo in January of 2015. The total monthly premium is only $32.40 per month. In November 2015 our dog become ill and was bleeding from her urinary track. Our vet found a blockage/stone the size of a marble. She required surgery. The total Vet medical bill was $1953.93, and Embrace covered $1488.06. This was after Embrace already covered $200 in covered Wellness Vet visits and medications. We are so happy we have Embrace Insurance, especially around the holidays. They paid our insurance claim in less than 10 days with no hassle. Thank you Embrace!

Embrace is the only pet insurance to look at.

I have 2 beagles insured with Embrace. So happy I picked Embraced. Had a wellness claim and it took very little time for claim to go thru and be paid. You can find everything you need on the website for submitting claims. 3 ways to submit your claim which is nice. Gives nice detail on your claim process. What is really nice is it list your coverage amount, deductible amount and shows how much you have used and or left. Great detail in one space about your coverage. The 3 times I have talked to someone on the phone they have been very helpful and very nice. If your considering pet insurance do yourself a favor and get Embrace.

Chacha and embrace

At first I was hesitant to get pet insurance but since my 10 year old cocker spaniel was aging I knew it was time to get her insurance just in case something happened. Sure enough ChaCha was diagnosed with a malignant mast cell tumor and I'm thankful that embrace was there to help us cover the cost. Anytime I've had questions the staff have always been more than helpful and process things within a reasonable time. Glad embrace has been with ChaCha and I through this process. She will soon be cancer free!

Excellent Customer Assistance and Communication.My dog has some discharge coming from her eye and after sending the documents to Embrace, it was covered!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
