hoped to never need it, but sure glad we have it!

We've had our 6 yr old Rottie insured by Embrace since she was a less than a year old and luckily, never had occasion to use it. Unfortunately, the past 12 months has been very rough for our baby as she had bladder stone removal surgery in January then in September, what we thought was a torn Cruciate Ligament necessitating TPLO surgery. Turns out our baby has synovial histiocystic cancer in her knee joint that necessitated amputation and chemotherapy which she is going through now. Embrace has been great and has lived up to it's promises. They have been the bright spot in what has otherwise been a very dark time for us!

GREAT COMPANY

My Oscar has pemphigus and pyoderma but with Embrace Insurance I feel like I'm not going though this alone. They have paid every claim and in a timely manner.

Reimbursement? What Reimbursement??

After paying $100 per month to insure 2 dogs, finally made a large claim after my Great Dane was bitten by a Poisonous Spider. Bills totaled around $1000. Filled all of my claims and Presto - found out the 80% reimbursement rate was a TOTAL JOKE!!! Got back $151.07! WHAT???? Oh I forgot, $500 deductible and we don't cover this or that. Am currently shopping for better Pet Insurance that actually covers my pets!!! What a Joke.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
