Love it!

This is the first time I have used pet insurance. I find the staff friendly and helpful when I get help by phone. I found the website a little confusing, but overrall I really like the company.

Better than I had expected and Glad to have it!

I was VERY skeptical on pet insurance. Growing up on a farm that is NOT something that you did. But when we adopted our dog was recommend. We are so glad we listened. The staff at Embrace have been VERY helpful with helping us through the process taking a little stress out of an hectic emergency visit and multiple follow up visits. Embrace was very quick to reimburse us w/out any hassle.

Dependable and Caring!

We have had Embrace for almost a year now for our soft wheaten terrier. They have provided excellent customer service from the beginning! Anytime we call in with questions or need guidance on a claim they follow up immediately! We treat our dog like a child, so we don't hesitate taking him to the vet if we're concerned about him. Embrace feels the same way about pets and understands our needs!

Ear Infection

I am very pleased with this insurance. My Labrador is 3 years old. I mostly got this insurance in case of bad illness ie. cancer or bad luck, eating something he shouldn't or being hit by a car. So far only 2 ear infections, bad skin rash and unfortunate lacerations to all 4 paws due to broken glass on a trail. in all 3 cases I was covered. I am hoping that nothing really bad ever happens, but feel safe in knowing that if it does, I have embrace to turn too.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
