Very happy first experience

Very happy with our first claim experience with Embrace. Our dog was diagnosed with conjunctivitis and all we had to do was print out a simple 5 question form for the vet to complete and fax it in. Within a day I heard back that that had received our claim and that we were covered within a week from that!

a VERY happy cllient.

This is our first exposure to pet insurance and after investigating other insurance carriers we are more than satisfied that we chose Embrace. Their website Is easy to understand customer service leaves nothing to be desired. All claims have been answered promptly and explanations clearly given when there was a question in doubt. At the end of the day we are very pleased.

Very Satisfied

I have had Embrace for several years and have been satisfied and surprised that an insurance company does what it advertises and says. I had a large claim one month after getting the policy, and another cat has been sick with multiple problems recently. All of this has been handled promptly and correctly.

Happy

My little wiener dog got accidentally poisoned from eating something in the yard and she had to be rushed to the vet and then needed very expensive overnight emergency care. The claim process was easy and they paid fairly quickly. I had an issue with their billing department on another occasion, and it requires several phone calls to get them to stop telling me I'd be canceled if I didn't pay EVEN THOUGH I had. They were very apologetic but they need to fix their billing software ASAP.

Wish I would've gotten pet insurance earlier

Embrace has been heaven sent! No hassle and prompt payment. They offer excellent customer care. I wish my own health insurance was half as good as Embrace. My only regret is that I didn't sign up sooner

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
