Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Having a new puppy is expensive and knowing what kind of mischief they can get into, I decided on pet insurance. Sure enough, 6 months old and he gets gastritis and is one miserable pup. Embrace has been wonderfully supportive and our claims were processed within 5 days of them receiving the claims. Thank you and I would recommend Embrace to my friends.

Exceptional customer service

Excellent Insurance, have to get dog pre cleared for pre-existing conditions but then well worth it. Just know certain things aren't covered (some dental procedures)

Embrace makes it easy to file a claim and the process is efficient. So far, I've only used the wellness benefit and it has been a positive experience.

This is the only pet insuranse I have ever had so I don't know if this is normal or not. I have submitted 2 claims so far. My first claim was processed within a week, the second claim has taken 2 months to process and it was for a lower amount. (Actually I still dont have the funds in my account, I just received an email yesterday saying the process was complete). Another thing threw me off - when I called to set this insurance up I was told that full coverage for dogs doesn't kick in until 6 months because detailed records are required. I was told that for cats it's about a month. I have had this insurance for 3 months now and only today received an email telling me all the coverage my cat is excluded from. I guess it just wasn't very clearly explained from the get go. The people whom I have spoken with on the phone and received email correspondance from are very courteous and professional.
