Couldn't do without Embrace for my dog Brandy

Brandy is a 12 year old Beagle, the sweetest dog ever. Last year, just after her 11th birthday her she was diagnosed with a soft tissue sarcoma of the spleen. Except for our Embrace policy, I would not have been able to afford the surgery that saved her life. I don't know exactly how much the surgery and continuing treatments have cost in the last year (close to $5000 though). Brandy is alive because of my Embrace policy and yesterday we celebrated her 12th birthday. Thanks. We feel totally Embraced!

Beyond our Expectations!

Very pleased with service and ease of getting paid for claims we submit. Apparently our Havanese is susceptible to bug bites. We have had a couple of incidents this year. Naturally, they don't heal quickly and while the doctor tries the most conservative approach first, he ended up needing shots and medications🐾🐾🐾. We also had a visit to the ER and Neurologist recently. We had great piece of mind knowing that we would be reimbursed for these huge and unexpected expenses. Thank you.

Helping us each step of the way

We recently found out that my beloved boxer boy has T-cell lymphoma and dilated cardiomyopathy. While these diagnoses have dealt us a significant blow because the average lifespan is six months from diagnosis, having Embrace cover the cost of his chemotherapy treatments and his cardiomyopathy medication has brought us some peace because it has allowed us to give him a good quality of life while he is with us and to focus on giving him love and care instead of worrying about money. The people at Embrace have been extremely caring and our claims are processed very quickly which is important because weekly chemotherapy treatments are expensive. I am very glad to have Embrace in our corner as we fight cancer and heart disease and my boxer boy has kept his tail wagging because he feels so much better while getting treatments.

Ideal

Embrace really helped us figure out a tricky situation, that involved a lot of back and forth. It ultimately came down to poor record keeping from our vet, and we had a very helpful experience.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
