Great Outcome

I have insurance because my last Golden died of cancer. I just submitted a claim because my dog Jackson had to have his spleen out. After paying for 5 years on 2 dogs this was my first claim. Everything was covered and because I had not submitted a previous claim my deductible was lowered.The process was fast and simple and I received my money very quickly. Customer service was efficient and the folks I spoke to were friendly. I would recommend Embrace to everyone with a pet. PS. Jackson's mass was not cancerous!

So thankful for Embrace!

I was so happy I had pet insurance when my dog had unexpected post-surgical complications after his neuter. He was cryptorchid, meaning the surgeon had to retrieve one of his testicles from his abdominal cavity. He suffered from several complications after the surgery, requiring three additional surgical procedures, a week of hospitalization and 6+ weeks of medications. The Embrace team has covered every accident & illness claim I've submitted, which saved us financially. Being insured gave me the peace of mind to tell the surgical team to do whatever was necessary to heal our puppy, no matter the cost.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
