More Time With my Little Girl

After my mother passed away, I inherited her cat. I have had four other cats in my life and this one is so special. My sister tells me she has blossomed in our home and she has come to mean the world to me. I hoped I would have her for 5 more years or so. Since she was 14, I insured her. I was so happy that Embrace was willing to insure a 14 year old cat. For her first two years with us, I was glad that insurance was not needed but I had peace of mind. This year, she was diagnosed with Bowen's disease (a form of skin cancer) and lymphoma. She is getting treatment for both, is doing well and is comfortable. Because I embrace, this special kitty and I will get more time with each other...who knows...maybe 5 more years. What a great decision it was to insure her.

Brilliant

Best insurance! Everyone there is so nice. They listen and answer your questions. Claims are handled quickly. This company is the best. I also love that you can use holistic vets.

cannot recommend Embrace

Exclusions exclusions exclusions! Beware. In my opinion your money is better spent placed in a savings account. A claim was submitted for treatment of a seizure that occurred within the coverage period. There was no diagnosis of chronic seizures prior to when the coverage period began. So no clue how this determination was made. Note that the Vet still has not determined the cause. They are still testing and observing. Note also the claim was not reviewed by a Vet. It was reviewed by a Vet Tech who also determined that ear infections and cancer (my pet has a very small benign skin flap) are also excluded.

anything to deny a claim

Hi all, First off, My dog had a Hematoma on his ear, as a result of external trauma. Embrace denied it because they said it was "probably due to an ear infection," and I am in the waiting period for illness. I appealed it, and when I went back to the vet, and the vet showed documentation that there were "NO SIGNS of an infection." The appeal was denied because the vet mentioned allergies, and that because my dog sometimes gets itchy skin, the hematoma caused by trauma is a "pre-existing condition." Embrace will apparently do anything to deny a claim. I am going to post my story everywhere I can

Horrible

we read on your site that you pay out 95% of your claims, somehow I ended up in that 5% you didn't pay out. we went into Oradell to find out one issue that wasn't there before and found more issues that didn't exist before we brought him there. but as long you keep your money that's what matters. I promise you I will never recommend you to anyone and will do everything I can to make sure everyone sees what a scam you are. we had plenty of vet bills and visits to show he didn't have these problems before our rush to Oradell. so thanks for adding to our heart break, since a day after taking him home he had to be put down. awful company that doesn't deserve to be in business.
