Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

My little love bug of a doggy was diagnosed with Pyometra and had to have same day emergency surgery. It was an unexpected expense and minus my deductible, they literally paid the full percentage of the total bill they said they would. I was pleased :) She had never fallen ill and I was making a decision to drop the plan the following month. I will definitely be keeping it!

I decided t purchase a policy through Embrace because it seemed to have the most positive reviews. After purchasing, my puppy needed his 2nd set of shots. I submitted the claim and within ~48 hrs, I received a message stating my claim had been reviewed and approved with reimbursement check en route. If this is the type of exemplary service I'm to continue to receive, I'm certainly glad I went with this company.

I have recommended to numerous friends! Great company, very caring, and good coverage. They process claims in a timely fashion, and are open to discussion about covered-not covered. I have had a policy on two different dogs over the past couple of years.

Embrace is efficient processing claims and their communication is great. I recently lost my cat, and there was a little glitch with the claim for his final vet expenses. But the staff was responsive, solved everything quickly, and sent us a check for the amount over our deductible. In addition, they never failed to express sympathy, and even sent us a card that was personally signed by several staff members. Thanks for your service.

We have to recommend Embrace after our recent experiences with Boomer, our 6 year old Scottish Terrier. We have had Embrace since Boomer was a puppy -- using the Wellness rider to help pay for his puppy costs and then continued once he became a teen/adult. Although he's 6, we hadn't submitted any claims to embrace as he was a happy, healthy dog... or so we thought. I came home on the first of March to find Boomer not being his normal self and greeting me at the door. He wouldn't move and was a sack of potatoes when trying to pick him up. Needless to say we rushed to the Vet Hospital. When the doctors examined him, his platelet count was zero and had blood in his abdomen. The prognosis was ITP -- a condition where Boomer's immune system attacks his own platelets in his blood -- and without platelets he's able to bleed very easily. The techs did not expect him to live that first night. After five days in the vet hospital with 2 platelet transfusions and one treatment of IVIG later Boomer was luckily on his way to recovery. All during the decision process we thankfully knew that we had Embrace behind us so that we could make decisions as to his care based on the options that we had in front of us, rather than the potential costs. We submitted the claim and it was promptly paid by Embrace, without any question, within 10 days. We cannot rave enough about the piece of mind that Embrace brought us in this recent incident.
