Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Embrace is the absolute worst pet insurance. Maybe this is how all pet insurance companies are, and wish I had used someone different. Nothing is covered and everything is "pre existing" or the deductible is never met ($150 which is low). I wish I would have known or been told to take my dog in (first visit) as a "screening or physical". My dog is healthy and my vets exact words were that Jack "is a dog of a lifetime" and have an amazing dog! Instead I took him in for a couple minor issues (not knowing this was a "pre screening"); otherwise I would never have done that. Now I'm screwed for everything. I hate this company and is a waste of time and money. Only reason I don't switch, is because I'm sure everything now will be "PRE EXISTING"! Embrace is great at not covering and paying out. Typical insurance company. Actually, auto and health are higher on my scale as far as "insurance companies" go.

We recently incurred significant bills when our dog was hospitalized in critical care for pneumonia. Claims are easy to upload and reimbursement is quick.

My cat needed an expensive surgery and my insurance policy covered all costs over and above the deductible and co-insurance. If I was uninsured, I would be in a much worse place financially. The claims were processed timely.

I have had excellent experiences with Embrace! Highly recommend them.

When researching pet insurance, Embrace stood out because of their wellness plan and customizable illness and accident plans. It's wellness plan coverage and price exceeded other competitors.The wellness plan has paid off completely in it's coverage for our two dogs. Their claim process is pretty simple and their communication throughout the process is very nice. I have recommended Embrace to family members who have also purchased insurance through Embrace. Thankfully I have not had to use Embrace for an accident or illness, but I can rest easy knowing I can get my sweet boys the care they need and not worry about finances.
