Prompt, straightforward service
I've had Embrace insurance on my dogs for 3 years now. A high deductible plan for if/when something major happened. So this was my first time to actually use it. This spring, my 8 y/o Border Collie developed a hyper extension injury in her wrist. After a couple months of conservative treatment, there was no improvement and my vet referred me to a specialist who ultimately recommended orthopedic surgery. I went ahead with the surgery and I submitted the claim form and itemized bill a day later. I had a couple questions that were promptly answered with phone calls and I had to resubmit one page of the bill as I had inadvertently cut off some information in the photo that I uploaded. I received an email 9 days later that my claim was being paid - well within the time frame given on the site.
I appreciate how straightforward the process. My dog had no pre-existing conditions at the time she was first insured and everything was covered as expected (total bill minus the deductible and copay of course). I had opted for the prescription drug coverage so the meds she came home with for recovery were covered as well.
The cost of insuring my dogs is something that I definitely need to budget for to be able to afford. But I will continue to keep them insured with Embrace as long as they provide this level of service.
I'll also add that I appreciate the multipet discount and the discount for paying in full for a year at a time.
