Cashmere Mist

Having owned several animals in my life, I have never insured them. So glad I decided to get a policy through Embrace on my cat. She is very important to me and this ordeal has been emotionally stressful. At least I didn't have to worry about the financial aspects as Embrace reimbursed me in a timely manner. Thank you

I love Embrace!

My dog Taz has been "embraced" for about two years now and they've covered heartworm treatment, mass removals, and arthritis treatment. I've never had any problems filing claims or getting reimbursed and their customer service is top notch.

As Good as it Gets!

After a visit to the vet, which seemed to become more frequent for our older dog, the vet highly recommended that we get pet insurance. My fiance and I had been talking about it, but after one very expensive visit we decided it was something that we should do. The vet recommended one company, so I looked into it, but was turned off by the price tag. I decided to do more research and compare companies, and with our USAA discount, Embrace seemed to be the best option. Since signing up for Embrace, I have no complaints. Shortly after getting coverage, my older dog came down with a terrible UTI and needed to go to an emergency vet. That basically took care of the deductible, and when the UTI kept coming back Embrace promptly covered everything according to our plan. I am so happy we signed up for insurance, because we would be severely in debt at this point. The customer service at Embrace is fantastic and they always respond promptly to my concerns. My claims are processed very quickly and I have no complaints!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
