Came Through When in Need

We have had Embrace insurance for our dog for the last three years. I have to say that I considered cancelling my policy because it was expensive and didn't cover any of the normal maintenance type bills (I don't have coverage for wellness just injury). Seemed like a waste of money but kept in case something tragic happened. I am SO glad I did! Our dog Lil G has been plagued with a limp for the last few months and we couldn't figure out the cause. After multiple visits to the our vet, physical therapists, surgeons, radiologists and finally a neurologist we figured out the cause. We have had about $4,000-$5,000 dollars in bills and still may have a long way to go with her treatment (hopefully not). Embrace has picked up 80% of the cost and has been a life saver to our family. I would highly recommend this insurance.

Excellent company

I have Embrace insurance for my two year old airedoodle. I have had to enter a claim twice. Both times, their representatives have been courteous and helpful and I was reimbursed quickly. I would definitely recommend this company.

Fast and efficient

Even though I have been with Embrace a couple of month now for my first ever puppy, all my concerns and questions were answered in a timely fashion! After going to the vet it was amazing how fast the claims were handled along with the reimbursement!

Terrific health insurance in every way

I've been very pleased with the efficiency of Embrace in handling claims and the customer service when I call with questions is the best. I feel totally protected with this insurance and highly recommend it. I've never carried pet insurance in the past. My vet actually recommended Embrace. I'm so glad I have it now.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
