Swift Response to Claim

Love Embrace Pet Insurance having my back during times when my doodle isn't feeling well. Embrace communicates when I file a claim immediately. They are courteous, kind and care about my pet. If you feel you need to speak with them, all you do is call and somebody will answer the phone or email them. It's so easy and fast. Thank you Embrace!

Embrace covered everything that I expected them to cover.

Embrace gets two thumbs up from me. I have tried two other pet insurance companies in the past and will never go back to them. Embrace covered everything that I had expected them to cover. The claims were processed and paid in a fairly timely manner of about 7-8 days. The checks arrived about a week after the claim was completed and processed. I had several claims over a period of two weeks, and after my initial deductible of $500, they paid exactly what I thought would be covered.

Embrace is so easy to work with! We are so glad that we have them for Sadie!

We were out of town, and Sadie ate a STICK! It "didnt' come out so well". :) We took her to the vet there, and they took care of her, of course. We filed the claim with Embrace, and they took care of us right away. They even automatically deposited our refund directly into our checking account.

Compassionate Response to Cat's Death

We recently lost our 9 year old cat to cancer. Embrace worked with us and our vet through the process and responded very compassionately when her surgery was unsuccessful.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
