Very happy overall with Embrace

Sometimes I've had to call to see what the holdup is with a claim, but every claim I've filed has been covered. I've not had any experience with any other insurance company, but I can't imagine them being any better than Embrace. When I call I get to talk to someone immediately and they're always very helpful. I had no idea I'd have to use this insurance with such a young dog, but I'm very happy I have it! You just never know what you're going to get with a rescue....

Happy I switched to Embrace!

I am very happy that I decided to switch to Embrace. I feel that the customer service is exceptional and they respond promptly to any questions you have. Claims are also handled in a timely manner. I also like what they offer through their Wellness Reward program.

How grateful I am to have this insurance

I am grateful I have this insurance.They pay out in a reasonable time frame and everything is online, they have paid all my claims which I am so very thankful! I have a dog with IMHA.

great customer service and claim reimbursement

I have been with Embrace for several years and have always found them to be helpful and responsive to claims and wellness checks.. I had 2 dogs go through chemo without insurance and learned the hard way insurance can help keep you in control and not devastate your finances. You have the option of wellness plus illness or just illness. You select the deductible. Claims have always been timely and feedback is quick. you can email the claims or mail the claims very convenient. They are helpful and I wouldn't be without insurance knowing the expenses I ran into. They have a great service.

My cat's recent claims were handled very promptly and efficiently as always. The same is true for my dog's claims.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
