As Advertised!
No complaints. We had a high-deductible, high-reimbursement plan. Our pet met her limit for the year, and every claim was approved and the reimbursed in short order (within days). No hassles whatsoever, and good value ($240 for a 10-year-old dog at a $1000 deductible and 90% reimbursement after that).

Emergency Claim
The Emergency Veternarian Hospital emailed my claim to Embrace. I was notified that it had been received, and approximately how long it would take to process. I was notified again at the time of approval and when I would receive a check. It was a fairly easy process, thanks Embrace!! I'm happy I decided of an Embrace Policy!

Cranial Crucible ligament repair
Monthly cost for accident/illness insurance for my 13 y/o yellow lab started at @ $18.00, and 3 years later is just@ $24.
Three days before this incident, I was wondering how important pet insurance really was! Now I am grateful that I kept it current for the past 3 years. Embrace paid for 90% of my vet costs with 0 deductible ("missing deductible" applied).

The BEST pet insurance company
I got pet insurance because my dog seemed to have random things going on like a grass seed in his ear or a funky tooth. Four months later he was diagnosed with a mast cell cancerous mast in his eye, at the age of 4. I was terrified I would lose my very happy and chunky dog so I agreed to do the chemo, whether it would be covered by insurance or not.
Not ONLY is the chemo therapy entirely covered by embrace, but they quickly and efficiently work on any claims to get the money back to me within a week. They covered his special vet dog food that I use in the wellness plan and have a fantastic team that respond to email questions quickly. I cannot say a bad thing about this company and on TOP of all that they offer a discount for military members, which helps me even further.
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
