Embrace is easy to use and allowed our pup to get the surgeries he needed to have a good quality of life.

Our luckiest unlucky pup has gotten an enormous amount of help from Embrace, and getting reimbursed has been a breeze. We found him on the street with parvo virus and after he survived we decided to invest in insurance. Embrace was easy to enroll in and submit claims to, which was lucky because Beau ended up needing CCL surgery on both of his knees and had an infected tooth that had to be removed all in one year! Thanks to embrace we were able to care for Beau and he'll have many healthy years to go!

Skeptical of insurance companies, but Embrace is a cut above the rest!

I've been very apprehensive about pet insurances even though I've always had Cody on one. I've had mixed experiences with the 4 pet insurances I've used in the past and my biggest worry was what would happen if Cody really needed help. I thought I would still have a few years left, but the ease at which I can submit a claim and get reimbursed for Cody's lymphoma treatment has been amazing. It had been a difficult time for our family and having a company (and employees) like Embrace has made it much easier. They made it completely effortless and allowed me to focus on the treatment rather than the payments.

So far so good!

I've only had embrace for almost 2 months and haven't had any problems or issues. It was easy to sign up and get things started. I later added the wellness plan to the insurance and the customer service rep was fast and convenient. I filed a wellness claim recently, I was able to upload the invoice and claim form to my account. I uploaded everything late Sunday night and today, 4 days later received an email saying it was processed. The only thing I wish they had was a way to set up the reimbursement check, I was looking around and found the 1-800 number to call to change it from a check to direct deposit but had I not looked around I wouldn't have known. Overall, it seems to be a good company.

Embrace was wonderful. The attention to service was prompt and much appreciated. It allowed us to have the gift of 3 additional weeks with our beloved Pepe. So grateful.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
